Poem

I was in a bad place
However, you helped me
You have made me feel a part of the human race
You made my life bearable

In 30 years, we will be parents, married, and divorced
Being hypocrites and being wise
In the end, I want you to know I did not want it to be forced
I am glad you came into my life

These moments will turn into stories
Those stories will turn into old photographs
We will be reminiscing old movies
Telling kids how easy they have it now

As I write this, I want you to remember
That year when we went for a drive
Do you remember? The cold December?
I told you, you were infinite
